See this?

Let the unpacking begin...

You might call it a pile of newsprint and tissue paper, but I call it unfolded packing material. And I’m just anal enough that the sight of it makes my hands itch - part of me needs to sit down and fold it, and the rational part of me smacks the anal part of me upside the head and says “Keep unpacking! You can do that later!”

I’m all moved it to my house now, and I will be going back to Sudbury tomorrow to clean the apartment and drop the keys off. There are still dozens of boxes to unpack, and furniture to shuffle around and room assignments to arrange*, but at least I finally have a table and chairs.

If you’re wondering how the new job is going, let’s just say I come in early every morning and stay late the day’s I’ve been in. Because I want to.

More when I have the internet at home, and not stealing a few minutes at work.

* There’s a whole post worth of me ranting about the electrical outlets in the house, their placement, and their grounding status.

yay to the new house!

though you unpacked far quicker than I have thus far managed over the last month - I still have half a box full of random things sitting on my kitchen floor … ;)

Congrats on the new house!

And don’t get me started on electrical outlets! My apartment has so few and they are in all the wrong locations. It’s totally safe to have power bars plugged into other power bars ad infinitum, right?

Looking forward to more pictures of the house!
