The sockapalooza socks, they are finished!

I finished them Thursday night. Now all that’s left is weaving in the ends and washing and blocking them.
The one thing that bugs me about them is that the sock on the left is slightly more reddish than the one on the right. I dyed the two balls of yarn separately, using exactly the same measurements for everything (possibly for the first time). What I think happened is that the sock on the right got stirred more than the one on the left, so that the red in the dye dissolved more.
Oooooooh. pretty socks. I wouldn’t worry about the reddishness of one sock over the other. I wouldn’t have noticed if you hadn’t pointed it out.
Don’t worry. Even the professionals have dye lots. My socks look different after the first wash anyway because they refuse to be washed in the same load as the mate and take on the hue of unsorted colours.
I just got them in the mail yesterday – I love them! I immediately put them on and wore them all day. The difference in dye is totally unnoticeable, and regardless I don’t mind fraternal socks. Thank you!!!
