This is the first year in a while I’m not doing NaNoWriMo. Not planning, not thinking about, not even a tiny bit interested in attempting. While I did do some work on my story(ies)1 over the summer, it’s not in any shape to be worked on or even continued. It should go back to the drawing board, and some steps have been made in that direction, but it’s a mess. And shit’s been crazy enough this year that I don’t have the brain cells to sacrifice worrying about yet another project that takes up most of my time.
So, this year I will gracefully decline to participate, and simply wish all the participants good luck and good writing.
